EW.com calls this "the best sci-fi show you've never seen," and "this generation's Twilight Zone." I agree wholeheartedly. Stop whatever you're watching and check this out on Netflix. It's a British series that holds nothing back. I've seen only the first 3 episodes - the 2nd is a little slow, but #1 and #3 are outstanding.

The first episode is pretty dark and cynical compared to others, but they're all good. The Christmas special is on today, IIRC.

I'm quite fond of the first episode of season 2, Be Right Back - great sci fi concept.

After taking a break to watch other stuff, I'm back to Black Mirror. Murrin, I agree 100% about "Be Right Back." It's my favorite episode thus far.

I just started watching it, and thought the first episode was good on social commentary, but because of what the kidnapper had asked, couldn't tell if it was the show for me.
Second episode was fantastic. Haunting and surprising, very much loved it.
Started ep 3 last night, but fell asleep almost immediately, because I was tired. I'll have to start it over.

Oh good. I keep trying to get back to this show. I started the third season and still was loving it. But these days, there are so many damn shows I want to watch and no time to do so that one you do not have to keep up with as every episode is self-contained tends to take a back burner to everything else. Especially when it isn't as easy to consume as comedy.

Season 4 dropped last week, and so far I've watched the first episode, "USS Callister." If you love Star Trek, you'll love this hilarious episode!

1st one wasn't bad, didn't enjoy E2 as much. Since when was this a Netflix thing? Anyway, only watched the first 2 so far.

Black Mirror's been a Netflix show since the White Christmas special.

So basically season 3 and now S4?

I preferred S1 and 2 to S3 really. Hoe it's not indicative of something. Very Happy

Will have to finish this season before making any judgement though.

"Metalhead" didn't really fit in with the rest of the series.

Now that I think about it, the first time I ever saw a show where someone digitized themselves onto a computer network (or the Internet) was Wild Palms, a weird ride from David Lynch way back int the early 1990s.

I do have to admit that I would gladly upload a digital copy of myself. Of course, since I have already thought about this I have told myself that if this occurs that I should remember that I am a digital copy--this will make the transition for my digital copy a little easier since it will remember that line of reasoning and will know its own nature.

Well, finished the season. Think E6 was my favourite, followed by E1. Still nothing really outstanding though I think.

Burned through the first two seasons yesterday. It's a clever show, and a worthy successor to The Outer Limits (the one from the '90s). Not every show is a home run, but there's been something thoughtful in each one. I like.

I loved that. Pretty damn weird though...typical Lynch I guess. Rewatched it a few years ago in fact, but it didn't make much more sense then either. Very Happy
