Started a new X3 Albion Prelude game, which is always a massive time sink...modded it to hell of course and quite enjoying it, but starting to remember what a pain it gets to be...

Well, my long awaited Hero-U: Rogue To Redemption is out and available on Steam and GOG. Installed my pre-order on Friday, and spent most of the weekend playing it.
Thoroughly enjoying it. A worthy successor to the QfG games.

So for fun, I decided to re-download Skyrim in the special edition version I got for free, due to having the legendary edition of what people are now calling "Oldrim."
I've spent the last 3 days finding, installing and getting 80+ mods to work together in harmony. Maybe one day I'll actually get to start playing it...

Found a Titan Quest add on game called Immortal Throne. Was unaware it even existed.
I haven't played TQ for an age and needed to install the game to install the add on. Which means I need a character with immortal status. Which means I now have to play through an entire journey to regain an entrance level.
Mmm...that could take quite some time. |

Picked up an early-access survival / crafting game called Scum. Looks pretty good actually, but it's a bit buggy at the moment, especially single player.
Also picked up The Universim, sorta a cross between Spore / Populous / B&W.

TQ update: haven't been able to get through the Centaur pass. I've been trying to farm better weapons instead of boosting my characters attributes.
Using the IT add on TQ flashes a tombstone whenever my character is killed. Interesting because of the cemetaries on each level. I could try farming the Greek cemetaries to see what happens, before progressing to Egypt with its extensive tomb raiding.
Tried playing Army Men, an eary 1998 PC game. Meh!
Loading Battle Realm (RTS), hoping this one hooks me in. |

For some reason (insanity can never be ruled out), I have gone back to X3: Albion Prelude.
Hours and hours of play to basically do nothing...and I have so many mods installed...

Assassins Creed Odyssey. Yes yes yes I will lose a shed load of time playing that this coming xmas.
I watched about 10 minutes of it and it looks like they have improved it on the Egyptian release (which I doubted as being possible). _________________ She's mad, but she's magic.

I usually found them too damn hard. More an exercise in frustration than anything. I've never broken a controller by getting frustrated because I usually got right up to that point and quit. I found I can usually only take maybe a level or two before I get to that point late in the game. I did finished Super Mario World on the SNES, and Super Mario Galaxy through this method, but I've played some others. I'm not always sure what to classify as a platformer. But yeah, my time is usually limited with 'em. _________________

Picked up Mafia III on sale at GOG.com. Waited for a good sale since reviews weren't great.
Nothing fantastic, but not too terrible. Just the controls are a bit glitchy sometimes.

X4 Foundations dropped on the 30th, and for a wonder, I can actually run it on my below-minimum spec machine. (I'm still getting a new screen card though.)
Not as good as X3, but a lot better than the disaster that was X:Rebirth. Hopefully some patches will improve it more, but was mostly playable (for me) out of the box as it were.
A bit sorry that some races are only going to be included as DLC, but got the Collectors Edition, so will get the first 2 DLC packs free.

Got my new graphics card yesterday. Can't believe the price of these things...got a GTX 1060, which was released 2 years ago, and it still cost me more than a month's rent.
On the plus side, it does seem to be performing very well.
