Wisdom frowns. "Most do not feel the same. It is a sign of your madness, that you see to the truth of it. Your English guards, they would understand the joys I bring. They would revel in them."

"But that is nothing compared to the joys brought to me by my childer." She turns to the empty courtyard, "Yes, even you, Orden."

Once Wisdom speaks his name, Lament realizes that Orden has been in the courtyard the entire time.

And then, Lament feels a breath by her ear, as a voice says "Boo!"

[Do you have any idea how hard it is to do dialog for a group of malks in the same room? GAH!]

Lament smiles at Orden and starts slightly, looking over her shoulder at Kaos.

"Hello to you both, I was wondering if you would appear during my visit."

When I was here all along.
Do not confuse us.

At the same time, Kaos pouts. "Not scared at all? Feh." Kaos seems more lucid than normal. "Come, my sire. Let us explore the human condition." She holds out her arm to Wisdom, and the two start to walk into the house again.

What do you perceive
In her talk of Englishmen?
Anything helpful?

"If I did not see you here, then you appeared to appear." Lament grins at Orden, then watches Kaos and Wisdom leave, a more thoughtful expression on her face. "I don't know. It will probably be more helpful later on, as riddles are not really my forte."

From a certain point of view,
perhaps you are right.

But, Wisdom's wisdoms
Often reveal one's mistakes
Just after they're made.

In hindsight, they show
What you should have done instead
Of what you just did.

I hope that you get
To puzzle out the puzzle
Before it's too late.

Lament heads back towards the pauper's gate, taking her time and meandering as she mulls over her conversation with Wisdom and Orden.

(I'm sorry this is kind of shitty, I'm swamped with mid-terms and school projects and it's eating my brain. I liked the Malk conversations tho.)
