After some thought, we have decided to offer you the chance to open a trade route, as evidence to our willingness to allow peaceful vessels to pass through the wormhole. Should you wish to accept, please get in contact.

Although I am sure I sound paranoiac, the only explanation I can give is that my gut says there are shady things going on in the background, and now this Accord comes forth. Whether they are connected is yet to be seen, but I haven't survived this long by ignoring my gut.

Ni-tka!! looked to the Greenvoid above with curiosity, craning its long neck. One can't help but wonder what is out there, it thought, the Void must be so vast... perhaps the Great Ascendant Ones themselves hide behind the Greenvoid and watch us, their favorite children...
Ni-tka!!'s gaze turned to the settlement of Yk-!nars - the jewel of the World. A vast sparkling sea of looming towers and bioluminescent buildings, grown from the very soil of the area through the bio-engineering of the Si-kal lifeshapers. Ni-tka!! glided on the soft, spongy moss that covered the vast plains around Yk-!nars, leaving behind various series of legprints: today Yk-!nars was completed and Ni-tka!!, as one of the young Ni-kal adults chosen to spearhead the settlement, was supposed to be there when the First Gate would open. But it was such a beautiful day! The Three-Faceted One shone warmly over the World, and the scent of freshly grown moss echoed around the young Ni-kal.
Lost in the contemplation of the World, Ni-kal suddenly was torn from its thoughts by the ultrasonic screeches of surprise of Yk-!nars. Many of the Kal swarmed around Yk-!nars, alarmed by its distress - and Ni-tka!! hurried to the settlement's side, striving to find out why it was screeching so loudly.
"Ni-tka!!, over here!" It heard its companion, Si-tkai, from a short distance ahead. Si-tkai was one of the lifeshapers who had crafted Yk-!nars - if anyone knew what was distressing the settlement, it would be it. So Ni-tka!! hurried at Si-tkai's side.
"What is happening?" Ni-tka!! communed to make himself understood over the settlement's screeches. Si-tkai shook its forelegs. "I don't know - but she feels something coming and is scared, I think."
"Scared?" Ni-tka!! could not believe something so great as Yk-!nars could be afraid of anything living or dead, unless one of the Great Ascendant Ones were...
Its thoughts died in its mind as the communing of the Kal suddenly soared: when its gaze followed the pointed limbs and faces of its people, it suddenly felt fear for the first time in a long while. A star had appeared in the Greenvoid and grown larger and larger, and from the star itself several sparks had detached. No, not sparks, Ni-tka!! thought, bewildered, only something very far!
One of the sparks grew closer, resolving into a vast form of green-blue fire, with eyes of burning white light and a majestic presence: the figure was so vast as to defy imagination, almost as large as Yk-!nars itself. The Kal gathered together in apprehension, and slowly, tentative voices whispered the name no one had dared suggest. "The Great Ascendant Ones have come..."

***

On the top of an earthspur of the World, Si-hakai was lovingly molding its last lifeseed. This, it thought, would be its masterwork, for Si-hakai was old, and it was no longer strong or hardy as it had been. As he molded the last imperfections, Si-hakai saw a twinkle in the Greenvoid - as if a star had been born to herald the creation he was completing. It is an omen, it thought, and I shall leave something to the World!
Suddenly, it became aware of a presence drawing closer. Si-hakai's sight and scent had become muted with age, but the soulsense had only grown sharper. Yet, Si-hakai felt something akin to dread within himself - for the presence he felt was not of this world, and it was vast, far greater than the presence of any Kal. And then, the old Si-kal turned its head... and saw a great shape of red flame, with eyes of burning white light and a feeling of majesty, age and wisdom that dwarfed even those of the old Si-kal.
Overwhelmed by the Great Ascendant One, Si-hakai craned its neck down and wept.

***

"People of the Kal", the communing call reached all the Kal of the World, the voice so alien and yet so wise and powerful that it could not be mistaken as anything but the collective voice of the Great Ascendant Ones. "We have come to you in peace. Our name is the T'lesir, and we have come from beyond the World, to both teach and learn. Do not fear, people of the Kal - we intend no harm. Here, this day, we have come from the Greater Skyfire: here we shall dwell to learn from you, and to teach, and to offer you our gifts. But if you do not wish our presence, if the T'lesir should be gone and not return, then let that thought come forth, and we shall depart, never to come back in your lifetime or that of your descendants. For we are the T'lesir and our word is our bond."
Silence filled the World for the first time since the last Birthing: the Kal were too stunned, too surprised to react. And this was what the T'lesir hoped for: in the absence of reasoning, the thoughts of the Kal came to the surface for the T'lesir to know - the easiest and most honest way to know whether it was the desire of the Kal to have the T'lesir assist them, bring them the gifts of knowledge and technology they bore, learn from the Kal their many alien skills, and give them a chance to enter the T'lesir boundaries.
Long moments passed as the M'lazar conglomerate, high in the sky, perceived the wishes of the Kal in relation to the T'lesir themselves: and when the T'lesir learned that the Kal saw them as the mythical "Great Ascendant Ones" - much was debated on the conglomerate. Eventually, a compromise was reached; and it was learned that the Kal were awed by the T'lesir and wished them to stay. A message was beamed back to New T'lesir: the T'lesir Core received it and held it like a terrified bird as news were heard. Already the Kal conglomerate - so called in order to honor the people of the World - was being gathered, and soon it would be launched...
The Kal could not immediately be inducted in the empire with equal rights and responsibilities - their minds simply could not accept the reality of the T'lesir yet. But the T'lesir would stay and colonize their World, offer them their knowledge and learning theirs in return, until the time in which the Kal could proudly stand beside the T'lesir in the wider galaxy.

Economic Boom

The galaxy is undergoing an economic boom following the hyperspace flux of last year. Most financial analysts are stunned, for they argue that after a disaster most investers tend to sell their stocks or sit and wait before investing. Common sense would dictate that fear alone is enough to inhibit trade, and populations would not be content with an empire that spends more money on expanding industry or its economy in place of ensuring a safer world. Yet, reality has shown otherwise. Every empire's economy has increased by a large amount.

How long is this expected to last? Many economists believe it is only short term, and that massive inflation will follow. Therefore, we might not see large spending, and instead will witness careful investment choices and much banking. However, only time will tell.

The leading economist journal, The Futurist, has endeavoured to provide a list of the leading financial forces in this part of the galaxy (as well as the weakest), and the largest populations.

Financial Power
1. The Free Traders
2. T'lesir
3. The Faceless Ones
4. Erkirithi-Sha
5. Krullen
6. Vishal
7. Delucrii
8. The Ross 154 Alliance
9. The Hive Will
10. The Khatani

Population Size
1. The Hive Will
2. Krullen
3. The Khatani
4. Delucrii
5. Erkirithi-Sha
6. Vishal
7. T'lesir
8. The Faceless Ones
9. The Free Traders
10. The Ross 154 Alliance

The Great Galactic Exhibition

Admission will be free for all Erkirithi, except to the public lectures, which require a small fee. Foreign dignitaries will receive free admission to all pavillions and displays.

The main building shall house the science and technology display where objects of scientific merit shall be open for all to view. Examples of all our technologies will be on display. A vast circular exhibit shall encompass the galactic history display. This history shall begin with first evidence of life on Utara-Mikud. Replicas of bones (as no samples exist) of the Erkirithi will be beside stone tools, ancient art and carvings, and stone totems of the various creatures of myth. As the viewer progresses around the great circle, the history of the galaxy advances. Examples of the Kwellenn, and human bones shall be displayed to show that inferior life-forms still thrive in the galaxy. The preserved remains of Professor Mercuse Di Montressor and his anthropological exhibition will be on open display.

The cycle of history will wend until the colonisation of the stars by the Erkirithi-Sha. Along the path, the last few thousand years will be marked with significant dates in the imperial calendar. Only the Great-Assisted-divine Emperor will be mentioned, there is no need to dwell on the Imperial family history. It is irrelevant. His Ascension date, and various Preservation dates will be marked on the track of history. No images of the emperor are permitted to be seen.

Examples of art will be on display, and a whole pavillion will be devoted to the art of the T'Lesir Core. The various scientific artefacts the Ross 154 sent us (such as their intellectual measurement devices)will be free to access for a small fee.

Public lectures will encompass a variety of scientific topics, dealing with the nature of civilisation, evolution etc.

Finally, a great Colonial exhibit will show case the natural history of Itu-minor and Ikiribti. Flora and Fauna from these worlds will be kept in enclosed does which visitors may wander in for a small fee.

Dust storms raged on the horizon while the hordes of Vishal packed into the transport ships. Colossal ships, like a large aquatic creature, massive doors open on the side while equipment and vehicles were loaded aboard.

Shinta'Sho watched from a nearby prism while the workers loaded onto their designated craft. The great muscled workers and their young marched in line as well as any soldier would on the parade ground.

A similar craft nearby was being loaded with all the equipment that the intellects would need for their great studies to advance the race of the Vishal. They worked hard to make life on their dying home world possible.

He then cast an eye over the group of military transports. The large bulky behemoths stood squat in the yellow light of the sun. Hundreds of thousand soldiers marched into the deep bellies of the massive craft, headed to a different destination.

While the workers and intellects, escorted by some soldiers were headed to start a new home, the soldiers were being sent to fortify the new world of the Vishal. Shinta'Sho was yet to decide upon a name for the world, but it would be the warriors own world, to be the shield between the Vishal and any aggressors, be they from the worm hole, or the insidious Overmind.

This fortress world of might would be the first battle ground in any future invasions. It would be a mark of defiance from the Vishal, towards anyone foolish enough to try and take what was theirs.

Then it struck him. Bal'Shane Er'rithaine. The Bastion Of Defiance

The new world had a name.

He watched as a fanfare erupted amongst the warriors. The honored Hinto'Havour, the first devision to reach the disaster zone that was the massive quake, were boarding the craft. They were now marked as the Vishals finest warriors. The first Vishal to face any enemy on the ground would be these brave souls.

He smiled. It was all coming together. Within his lifetime, the Vishal had found hope. He would make them into something to be honored and held in awe throughout the galaxy, something that every single Vishal within the Triumverate deserved.

We, the T'lesir Core, wish to announce that our vessels have recently discovered a sentient, civilized race in a world within the boundaries of our empire. This race, who calls itself the Kal, has been peacefully annexed to the T'lesir empire; it is our intention to nurture their civilization and to consider the Kal citizens of equal standing to the T'lesir.

To the scientifically minded, such as the worthy Erkirithi-Sha, we, the T'lesir Core, offer the possibility of studying samples of Kal culture and sciences which we have been freely offered by the Kal themselves; those who wish to learn more of yet another race in this vast galaxy may simply contact us, the T'lesir Core, to request more informations.

To our valued allies, the T'Lesir Core:

We are not surprised that a race in your territorial sphere has willingly formed part of your empire. For them to be treated on equal footing with yourselves, they must be a highly evolved race. Our scientists are now making arguments that the members of the Tripartite Accord represent the current pinnacle of evolution in the galaxy.

We are interested in receiving specimens of this race, their art, and their culture.

Furthermore, we would like to extend our thanks to all the enlightened species which submitted specimens and art to our Galactic Exhibition. The exhibition was a resounding success. We invite another species to hold the Second Galactic Exhibition, as a symbol of prosperity and unity.

These were the aims of The Servants of The Emperor, and these are the aims of all true Erkirithi. greetings other empires of the area.

We, The Triumverate of the Vishal, would like to announce that as of now, we believe the Tripartite Accord is of effect within our designated zone. As such, we will be fortifying our borders and increasing security in accordance to the accord.

We still insist that we have no intentions to disrupt galactic stability, only to defend it. Our forces shan't stray beyond our borders, unless necessary to restore galactic peace and order.

Our step up in military shall consist of both navel and ground forces, as well as dedicating many resources, aincluding an entire planet, to our military might. To the Vishal, our warriors are civil servants as much as soldiers, and will aid in many ways.

Also, we shall be making a massive increase in our industry, to increase produce to support our fellow Tripartite Accord members, as well as aid any empires that are in need of Tripartite assistance, be it military, civil or supply.

We are well aware that these action will make us unpopular with certain empires, however, we feel that by being completely overt in our operations, we are doing the right thing.

Regards, Guide Shinto'Sha.

We, the T'lesir Core, believe the Kal to be a strange and wondrous species, and we are intrigued by their evolution and their culture. They have refined different skills and crafts, but we do not doubt that, had perhaps a few more centuries passed before the Galactic Column Bank had approached us, the Kal would have likely been granted similar status to all other empires. It is our pleasure and our duty to see that potential fulfilled, and to learn from the Kal what we may, just as they will learn other crafts from us. Though their existence as being of flesh will, alas, bar them from entering the T'lesir Core, for it can be formed only by energy beings, we believe the Kal to be worthy of equal status with the T'lesir themselves.

We, the T'lesir Core, will be sending specimens of the Kal arts and culture to you for study, as you requested; we believe there is much to be learned from the study of another sentient race in the universe.

Galactic Daily News

Issue 1415

Thieves Rob the Two Richest Empires

Thieves, operating under the title "The Brothers of Socialism" have stolen money from the T'lesir Core and the Free Traders. It occurred sometime yesterday (the thieves began their operation around midnight for the T'lesir, and near noon for the Free Traders), and within minutes withdrew an immense amount of money from their economies. The security networks failed to detect them quick enough; by the time they had, the Brothers of Socialism were escaping the gravity wells of the planets under hard acceleration. They then quickly jumped out of the sectors using hyperspace shunts.

The Galactic Daily News have contacted both empires, but we have told that it is too soon for them to comment. We expect an announcement any day now, however.

Vishal Religion

It is said that the Vishal do not welcome organised religion, and tend to frown upon these sorts of beliefs. Yet, a disturbing religion, or philosophy, has surfaced among the species. They call themselves, "the All Knowing", for they believe they know more than a God who controls the universe. One of their statements is that they believe they are one step ahead of any deity. Earth mythologies - specifically Greek - discuss the problems with this 'hubris', and frequently the gods would punish mortals for thinking they know more than the god.

Does this mean the Vishal are likely to be punished? Who knows, but if a deity exists (some Vishal speak in fear of a deity called the Gee'Em), maybe it might become concerned that the species are claiming they know more. Perhaps it will cause another earthquake, or meteor to strike the planet. Who knows.

Journal entry 63, 12th cycle of moon Jen, Year 4327...

Bal'Shane Er'rithaine is a beautiful world.

My division, The Hinto'Havour, has been deployed here as part of a massive army of warriors. This world has been given to us to use for the defense of our brothers and sisters within the Triumverate.

I have spent three days here now. The great forests that cover this world are astounding. We have no such vegetation at home. I am filled with joy to know that My son will get to grow up in this beautiful place.

The guides have made it clear that we are to fortify this world, and we have followed their orders accordingly. Massive bunkers and entrenchments are built, weaving through the forest, avoiding clearing large sections of trees when possible. Even the brutish workers can appreciate the beauty of this place.

All around our entrenchments the Intellects buzz, learning as much as they can of this world, as well as try and design better equipment for use in this thick vegetation.

They have already trailed an explosive device resembling string, for clearing large sections of forest as well as anything lurking within. If anyone comes, we will be ready.

I sit here, looking out the view port of my cadres prism, as I write these worlds. The pointed tips of prisms rise through the forest canopy across this world. Fighters scream low over the trees. It warms my heart to know that we are doing our duty to the Triumverate.

At night, you can see a strange blue star. The intellects tell us that it is the galactic wormhole, the whole reason for our posting on this world. We see other stars. One intellect let slip which was the star of the Hivewills main system.

We watch that star more carefully than most.

This world is a fortress. A bastion. For the glory of our peoples, and for hope of peace.

We, the warriors of the Vishal, Soldiers of The Honored Hinto'Havour, stand between our people and the perils of the universe.

And we are glad and proud to do so.

Entry ends

Quick blade Nev'Vesh, of The Honored Hinto'Havour.

Issue 1620

Inflation

The empires in this region of the galaxy have passed their 'childhood' stage. In four years they have changed from weak, planet-bound governments into powerful empires controlling several worlds (although with the Free Traders' they have dominated trade and not planets). This editor has seen the empires expand rapidly along with their economies. Populations, for some, have fallen, but for most the numbers of their people have grown extremely rapidly. Science and industry has been the driving force behind this economic and social growth, and will no doubt fuel militaristic intentions (for some). Therefore, it is appropriate to argue that we have no reached the age of maturity of the empires. Maturity meaning, in the strictest sense, capability (perhaps not morality). However, there are consequences.

Because of the massive expenditure, prices on everything have increased by 1CC. The following lists the changes:

Quote:
Industrial Budget
Counter Pollution (6) – For two turns, pollution does not affect the population.
Improve Industry (16) – Increases industrial level. This can only be purchased once per turn.

Intelligence Budget
Counter-Intelligence (5) – Counters the activities of enemy spies within the empire.
Disrupt Fleet (8 ) – Spies prevent a fleet from moving that turn.
Espionage (6) – Places spies in another empire to either steal technology, incite insurrection, initiate terrorist acts, or sabotage industry.
Foreign Intelligence (3) – To obtain information on another empire. The more CCs spent the more information that is obtained.
Inquisition (11) – Removes all spies and negates foreign intelligence for two turns.

Military Budget
Attack Trade Route (11) – Allows a fleet, if it is located within the target empire’s borders, to destroy one trade route of that empire.
Build Armoured Battalion (8 ) - A battalion is comprised of tanks, mecha, and artillery.
Build Deep-Space Facility (16) – A DSF is built anywhere within an empire’s borders. No more than three can ever be built, and the player must decide the type (military or trade station), and only one can be built per square.
Build Deep-Space Sensors (6) - Detects any foreign fleets or warships in adjoining sectors and details their compositions.
Build Defensive Facilities (16) – Defensive structures (ground to air missiles, orbital defences, fields protecting cities and industrial regions) are built on a designated planet.
Build Sensors (3) - Individual ships and fleets receive a defensive bonus in the sector the sensors are located.
Build Warship (cost varies – see below) – A single warship is constructed at a planet or DSF. Note that no more than two starships can be constructed per planet.
Bunker (8 ) – Each bunker protects an army from orbital bombardment.
Conduct Raid (3) – This will afford a raiding action by a fleet.
Invade Planet (4) - This will afford a ground invasion.
Pillage Planet (3) - This will afford a pillaging action by an army.
Propaganda Campaign (5) – Increases the success of defending or attacking a world.
Recruit Army (5) – Recruits an army on one of the empire’s worlds. Up to three can be recruited each world.
Wage War (6) – Every turn a war is waged against another empire, this amount must be payed. Note that this is for each empire you are at war with, not overall.

Research Budget
Special Research Project (6) – The empire conducts a special research project. This may require consecutive spending for a number of rounds.
Research Level One (6) – Purchase a level I technology. A maximum of three level one technologies can be purchased every turn.
Research Level Two (11) – Purchase a level II technology. A maximum of two level two technologies can be purchased every turn.
Research Level Three (16) – Purchase a level III technology. A maximum of one level three technology can be purchased every turn.
Research Level Four (31) - Purchase a level IV technology. Cannot be purchased until turn 15.
Survey System (2) – Uncovers one square with a starship/warship.
Survey System II (3) – Uncovers a square adjacent to a square with a starship. This will also reveal fleet compositions.

Social Budget
Bread and Circuses (3) – Morale will increase. This can only be purchased once per turn.
Establish Colony (*Special*) – Colonise another (habitable) world. The player must decide how many colonists will be transported. Please note that a friendly fleet or starship must be in the system for a colony to be established. If there are enemy ships in the system, no colony can be built until they are removed. The first colony costs 6CCs. Every further colony costs 11CCs.
Establish Embassy (6) - Placed on a target empire's homeworld. Trade revenue between the empires is increased by 1 only for the empire that payed for the embassy.
Establish Governor (8 ) – A governor is ordered to rule a conquered or colonised world. Increases export price by one.
Establish Trade Route (6) – Allows for one trade route to be created with another empire.
Increase Population (7) – Population will be increased for each purchase.
Revolution (16) – Morale will be reset to normal once a new type of government is selected.
Upgrade Colony (6) – Increases a colony’s export price by one (maximum two upgrades).

In response, to stop further inflation, the GalCol bank will most likely increase interest rates on their loans.

We fight, and fight well! We will fight for you if you will fight and defeat our greatest army - Koori Koori. One army will descend to Jaramundji Mui, without assistance from your warships, and fight Koori Koori on the plains of Nunanga. Defeat our soldiers and the Mimi will bow before you. The Mimi will then supply three armies to you! We are the greatest warriors in the galaxy - greater than the Krullen! But you must prove your worth to command us.

Galactic Daily News

Issue 1814

The Star Eaters

During the last few years, there have been reports of strange activity within many stars in this sector of the galaxy. While most stars were affected, a few empires were ignorant of what was going on. Yet for hundreds of light years, the atmosphere of thousands of stars had become violent: mighty solar flares erupted, coronal mass ejections poured immense quantities of stellar material into space, whilst rapidly fluctuating magentic fields released intense radiation into space. The result of this has been that hundreds of worlds have become scarred or inhospitable. Worse, thousands have died from radiation poisoning, merchant vessels have been destroyed - and trade routes adjusted to avoid the stellar violence.

After the hyperspace surge and the creation of the Great Nebula the activity ceased. Many thought that the intense activity of the stars was somehow related. However, a T’lesir scientist that the stars might be infested with ‘alien lifeforms’, and that these ‘organisms’ were causing the activity had informed G’klek O’Doherty. The hyperspace surge destroyed the star the journalist was investigating, and with it any evidence of what was occuring.

It remained a mystery for over a year.

Until today. At approximately 3:00 AM Galactic Column Time (GCT), the activity in theatmosphere of every star in this region of the galaxy has increased: flares are building in strength, coronal mass ejections are flooding space with dangerous radiation and blasts of matter, bursts of radiation damaging ships, facilities and all organic material, and the magnetic fields of the stars are twisting and surging as though the stars are in the throes of death. But this is not due to an imminent hyperspace surge. It is entirely due to the fact that every star is now inhabited by energy organisms called the Stellarvores.

Telescopes and sensors fitted with solar filters have been able to view the organisms. They are many miles in size - rivalling even the Galactic Columns - and dwell within the lower atmosphere of stars (that is, between the photosphere and the chromosphere). They look like black squids, although scientists advise that they are not organic and are entirely comprised of fields. They survive in deadly conditions by allowing the fields that make up their bodies to direct the energy into 'wormhole-guts'; the heat is therefore shunted into other dimensions or regions of space. They feed on the matter of the star by sifting through the material that flows down the wormhole, the same way a sea creature filters material from the seawater that is sucked into its mouth.

As the process is not very efficient, and that merely dwelling in the sun and relying on normal stellar processes to supply material to it is slow, the stellarvores have to manipulate the star’s magnetic fields. In this way, they produce the current activity of the stars. An analogy might be useful here: imagine a large squid thrashing its tentacles about in an ocean, causing the sea to become immensely turbulent to better feed of the debris and organisms surging in the titanic currents. Imagine that this activity creates tidal surges, flooding whole continents, shifting fault lines to cause mighty earthquakes, and disrupting weather patterns. In this way, the creature destroys its food source.

The stars are close to releasing enough energy to kill large percentages of populations and damage industry and vessels. Some stars may erupt like novae, burning or smelting worlds. In this violence, systems will become irradiated and lost, while the stellavores feed for centuries until the stars are slowly torn apart of dwindle into pale husks of their former selves. All the while, the energy beings multiply – as we see happening now. The future perhaps looks grim.

Some time ago a message was received by every empire. Sent by the stellarvores:

“We have burrowed through the dark realm known as omega-space for an eternity – travelling between universes, hungry for the Bright Food. Hungry and sad, for we are dying and to survive others must die. We will feed for [translation: two years], and then we will leave for other regions to minimise harm to the [organic kind]. In return, we will send every [empire] a [Level III technology] for [free]. Believing that there is no greater way of life than a [democracy], you must all vote. If there is a majority voting to have us leave, we will leave for other regions of Bright Food. If otherwise, we will remain for two years in exchange for free knowledge.

“How do you vote?”

The Galactic Daily News will report on how the vote goes. For if the majority wish to receive the technology, then there will be an incredible cost of life. Yet in the midst of this major development, we have received news that a massive fleet has just invaded the Erkirithi-Sha Empire despite the Tripartite Accord; while the Hive Will and Faceless Ones empires have conquered more worlds.

The galaxy is no longer a peaceful, quiet realm. For the worst has yet to come.

War and tragedy is looming.

I would like to announce, on behalf of the Alliance and my allies, that we have begun the cleansing of the Northwestern Sector. We lay claim to the area from row one to row five across to the Gulf.

We planned this for minimum losses, as the Erkirithi-sha is the only non ally of mine in the sector, and already a threat with their Accord. We offer you now, leave the Northern Sector and no further attacks will be made. This can be done the easy way, or the really easy way.

I wait for your response.

:EDIT:

Also, my vote is to allow the Stellarvores to stay.

Greetings intelligent species of the galaxy, and the inferior mindless idiots of the Ross 154 alliance and her allies.

In response to the messages of the alliance and her allies, we, the Triumvirate of the Vishal, have begun an amassing of our might. We have made it no secret that our forces are great, and they shall be brought to bare, without hesitation, upon any and all aggressors who attack our allies.

You say this can be done the easy way or the really easy way. The easy way is that we shall conquer the ross alliance and her allies. The really easy way, we shall just conquer the ross for being stupid barbarians. we have long doubted your intelligence and you have given us the honor of proving us correct.

However, we will wait for word from our allies before committing anything to this conflict. We will, however, be removing all trade agreements with the Ross 154 alliance, as well as fore fill our end of the Tripartite Accord. Addition hardware and supply's are en route as we speak.

We also find it extremely hypocritical that the alliance spoke so harshly of our accord and then spat in our faces with this attack. You are a race without honor, and you say you trust your gut. Your gut shall be handed to you on a plate. By my very own hand.

Dark times now beset our galaxy. Under hand and evil forces are at work, and we shall not hesitate to crush them were encountered. To hear the marching of our armies in the streets pleases us much.

To the Ross 154 Alliance, Pray to whatever gods you worship, while you still can.

On the matter of our visitors from else where. We vote NO and believe they should move on. Anyone as underhand as the Ross that values petty technology over the lives of their own should be ashamed.

Regards, Guide Shinto'Sha

Honor is a wonderful thing for those who follow less, logical ways of thinking. There is only two ways of living. That which benefits the people of Ross 154, and that which does not. Our planet is gone, we have no home. We will not make the same mistake again. Our people will not come so close to extinction again.

It is inevitable that a power struggle would come about to place one species above the other. We simple went through the bush instead of around it, it was the logical choice. As long as we are at the top of the galactic hierarchy, our survival is guaranteed.

We wish no further strife, and the Erkirith-sha have the option to relocate to the planets of their loving allies. And I am sure you would welcome them with open arms, yes? Then again. Perhaps not so loving after all. I think it is agreed that we are all still suspicious of each other, I doubt I will be the only Empire here to move in shadows.

In the end, it will all come down to how we fight. And I fight for my survival. My people are back into a corner. Come and get me.

We, the T'lesir Core, are appalled at the callousness and arrogance of the Ross154 Alliance. We, the T'lesir, also lost our homeworld and found ourselves on the brink of extinction. But rather than wallowing in self-pity and nurturing our paranoid side, we, the T'lesir, have rebuilt and reformed our society, wishing only to live in peace with the Galaxy.

The Ross 154's claim that the Accord was a threat to them is easily debunked: the Accord clearly stated that if an empire of the Tripartite, such as the Erkirithi-Sha, attacked another empire, it would forfeit any support from the rest of the Tripartite. Yet the Erkirithi-Sha have always demonstrated honor in their dealings with us, the T'lesir, and with the galaxy. It is a fact that they have never attacked another empire, save for the headless Khatan Imperium. Therefore we accuse the Ross154 of being the true warmongers in the galaxy.

Furthermore, we, the T'lesir Core, are appalled that a race who claims to be logical would commit such acts. A war will cause countless deaths among the Ross154, whose population is smaller than the Erkirithi-Sha already; and by attacking one of the Tripartite, the Ross154 have failed to realize that this condition was provided for in the Accord they fear so much, and that both T'lesir and Vishal will lend their help to the Erkirithi-Sha in this war.

Finally, we accuse the Ross154 of attempted genocide: they are voting to let the stellavores feed on the stars of our galaxy, slaughtering millions of beings, just for the mirage of a powerful technology which they could easily obtain by themselves, if they used their Credits for peaceful purposes rather than war.

With all this in mind, the T'lesir Core hereby declares:

1) All trade routes with the Ross154 Alliance will be immediately severed;

2) In agreement with the Tripartite Accord, we, the T'lesir, will provide help and support to the Erkirithi-Sha, although we will not end our fleets to war ourselves;

3) We, the T'lesir Core, vote against allowing the stellavores to remain in known space; furthermore, we urge our allies to vote the same way.

We, the T'lesir Core, will give a last warning to the Ross154: the actions you have embarked upon will cause the deaths of countless people, many of them among your own; is making them glow in the dark truly the way you intend to avoid extinction?
