I loved it as well. Frankly I'm not seeing the problems with pacing some others are mentioning.

Parts of WGW were slower paced than AATE.

I love the way the story is heading. Can't wait to see the confrontation with that Worm! Razz

I suppose the Sandgorgons might have a thing or two to say about the prospect of being devoured by a giant Worm.

The Sandgorgons won't even stand a chance. That Worm creates tidal waves and eats stars for breakfast.

I suppose wild magic is its equal? After all, it's just Earthpower, right? But of couse such a contest would shatter the arch. Foul would get a kick out of that, I bet. "2 for 2!"

I think Linden is going to ride the Worm like a sandworm in Dune.

I agree - there were so many revelations and staggering, unbelievable events that it just blew me away..
I think I'm going to start to re-read it again tomorrow..

If you walk with no rhythm, you won't attract the worm.

....btw...ever see Beetlejuice? That movie ripped off Dune hard! Big Grin

I never got around to watching Beetlejuice, so I didn't know. Maybe now I'll take a look-see. Shocked

Well you should see it (Keaton's best performance ever), but my comment was tongue-in-cheek. There are giant worms in the movie, that live in a sand-filled environment a la Dune.

It was the dark side of the character Keeton portrayed in Nightshift. At least that's how I envision him.
