I'll attempt to outline what I think the pattern and dates are but essentially, if you're willing to take the lead on certain chapters (as outlined below) then register your interest and it's incumbent on yourself to lead the discussion for those particular chapters.

I will take replies to this post and edit this message with the details of who will take the lead.
Ch 1 & 2 danlo
Ch 3 and Ch 4 - Start 5 October 2002 - danlo
Ch 5 and Ch 6 - Start 12 October 2002 - Lady Genni
Ch 7 and Ch 8 - Start 19 October 2002 - Aliantha
Ch 9 and Ch 10 - Start 26 October 2002 - Lord Mhoram
Ch 11 and Ch 12 - Start 2 November 2002 - caamora
Ch 13 and Ch 14 - Start 9 November 2002 - Nerdanel
Ch 15 and Ch 16 - Start 16 Novemebr 2002 - Vain
Ch 17 and Ch 18 - Start 23 November 2002 - Earthblood

Unassigned Dates
Ch 19 and Ch 20 - Michael GiantFriend
Ch 21 and 22 Drinny
Ch 23 kaseryn-
Ch 24 & 25 danlo

I'm a bit hesitant to put dates to the remaining chapters as the holidays will be in full swing by then and it's probable that most participants won't be near a PC Smile

As aliantha kindly reminded me, I managed to skip November. Must have something to do with the Christmas decorations in the shops already. On the BRIGHT side though Wink

I think that's Chapters 7 & 8. So put me down for those two.

Vain, you skipped a month -- you forgot November! (Jeez, don't scare me like that -- I'm already starting to hyperventilate just a teense over Christmas shopping....)

Ok - I'll take chapters 5 and 6. Starting October 12th - Now is that the day we are starting the "read" or the day we are starting the "discussion"?

I'm thinking it's the discussion but correct me if I'm wrong. Also, was a time settled or is it just a check in when you can sort of thing. I'm west coast, USA so PST is my time zone. I can probably post first thing in the morning that day...would that work?

the discussion begins Oct 5th on chapts 3 & 4--so on that date you would announce that it's time 2 start reading 5 & 6 now 4 the discussion 2 begin on the 12th and so on...I think mhoram wants 2 do 2 chapts 2...

Morn
Angus
Davies
Nick
etc

Pick the wrong one and you could do more than you bargained for Smile

Lord Mhoram did say he was WAY ahead of us all Wink

So maybe Ch 11 and 12? What say you LM?

OK Vain, now we have a situation on our hands! I wrote in my 1st post on this thread that Mhoram wanted 2 do a chapter in LFB--and now u have a battle 4 the last chapter brewing. Do something b4 some1 starts 2 rave! Very Happy

No battle here Danlo - it's really not that big of a deal. I am happy to bow out of LFB & take a spot in TIW......I'm really more interested in that anyhoo Cool

LM did say he really wanted a spot in LFB - I took one to make sure there were no holes in the schedule.

I'm trying to remember my OoP...

I will survive to do battle another day!!!!! (What OoP? - Bring 'em on!)

9 & 10 are Lord Mhoram's, if he still wants them.
