There's excitement in Gainesville. It feels like a rebirth of the Golden Age. Let's hope.

We'll see. A new coach brings excitement, but the news of the visiting team's bus being burglarized while the game was on is disheartening.

Not to mention my disappointment for Tebow...

NMSU was the traditional sacrificial lamb to start the Gator season. While I also want to see them as Chomp-ions again, let's take this one game at a time.

As for Tim, he'll be fine. He knows there is a plan...only he hasn't learned what it is yet.

Why I have to tell that to the Queen of "Just Be" is a puzzlement.

If Tebow is serious about the NFL, he's going to have to take his show to Canada. I don't know if he will, but that is pretty much what Chip Kelly said.

As for the game, we have a long ways to go especially up front (hopefully that develops quickly), but when is the last time you've seen an effective 2 minute drill against any team? It feels like 5 years or more. Green shoots, green shoots are poking through the ice.

TN didn't have too much trouble with Bowling Green this past weekend. But, our corners were surprisingly weak. Playing Oklahoma and loudmouth Stoops at Neyland this weekend. That's going to be an ugly game.

I was traveling to Portland, OR on Saturday, so I didn't watch, not listen, to the game. However, this hits the spot just fine.

What class looks like. This is why the SEC and the South kicks ass.

TN had a rough start against Appalachia St. last night, finally winning in OT. I fear that the Vols are wildly over-hyped.

Gracious Concierge, your gracious is slipping...as it sometimes does when the urge to twist dlb's tail is strong in you.

OTOH, were Sunbaneglasses still around, he probably would have had something to say about UW vs Auburn last weekend. Opening the season against the Tigers was not the lift the Huskies might have hoped it would be.

Knowing the Gators, the opportunity to do so won't last long, though...
