HISTORY AND EVENTS
All signs point toward a kind of renaissance underway on the continent of Pahnia. Empahnia, in the center of the continent, is healthy and prosperous. Fortunado, a southern port, is swelling with enterprising people of all sorts.
Scholars across Pahlia begin speaking of the Ommian Collegium, some in hushed tones, others quite enthusiastically.
Reports begin circulating of mortals gaining extraordinary powers, the likes of which resemble tales of old Eiran.
The Interdict has been relaxed. The gods of Pahlia begin affecting the world and the lives of those upon it.

Dwarrow. Short. Stocky. Prefer caves, tunnels, and stone.
Giants. Bigger than humans but look more like dwarrow.
Centaurs. Below the navel, horse. Above the navel, human.
The Edem. Radiant Ones. Child-like creatures taller than dwarrows but lighter. Kind of glowy.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
