Just glancing at it, the way to go for me would be to fly to Denver and drive down from there. It's almost $200 cheaper to fly there than straight to Albuquerque. It's a 6hr drive, but it'd be an interesting one.

It's about $200 cheaper for me to fly to Denver as well - care for a road companion?

That'd be great! Anyone who wants to head down through Denver would be welcome! Maybe we can get have ourselves a convoy!

Based on the quotes above, I guess the focus is on June 1-3, if SRD is available.

Dr Evil I can stay at the place I was at the last time, I think it was a Marriott.

My head hurts. The sooner a decision is made the sooner I can start looking into the logistics of me coming and meeting ya all. The later I leave this the more expensive it's going to get (and I'm already looking at around $2500 just to make it to the US). Sorry to hustle you all! Smile

Unfortunately, Sea, we're also waiting on a reply from SRD. We can't make any definite plans until we hear from him. But, I'd also like to have a definite weekend decision made soon.

Ok, I just got word from the man and the only weekend he can officially commit to is the 15-17 of June which isn't even on our list of options.

Right, because that's Father's Day weekend. Bummer.

So how much trouble, exactly, would you dads get into if you weren't home for Father's Day this once? Are we *sure* we can't plan this to coincide with SRD's schedule?

Ooooooh, flying into Denver -- now *there's* an idea! I'm happy to have *any* excuse to fly into Denver.... OTOH, I'm tempted to fly all the way out to SF just to roadtrip with the Watchwomen! Laughing Seriously, flying to Denver is way doable for me. Frontier regularly runs specials, and I believe Southwest now flies into DIA, too. Can I catch a ride with you guys? (The last time I drove over Raton Pass into NM, I blew a head gasket. But this time I won't be pulling a U-Haul that's too big for the car. So it's all good!)

I would be happy to bring a tent for the uber-cheapies who need to stay in Danlo's backyard. I've got a 4-person, a 3-person, and a solo tent.
