Ha, it's gonna be more than a day or two...she probably still has at least 2 weeks to go in her bandages / frame / dressing, so it's going to be hand and foot throughout no doubt. Smile

But, plan was to take the tube out today, and presuming she ate again without it in, I may be able to pick her up tomorrow. Smile

So, I seriously was going to leave the Beddian birthday graphic up all year. But, why celebrate 2020 at this point?
There are better images to promote.

Congrats Menolly. Very Happy

Me, I'm knackered. Nowhere near enough sleep these past few days.

On the plus side, my cat is looking a lot better already. Smile

Congrats Menllly.

You and yours remain in our prayers.

Please give George a hug from me.

I could really use it right about now,

But social distancing. And Seattle

Seems distance enough.

I can't help with the distance between Texas and Washington State. But, as far as hugs and social distancing goes...

I don't need surgery. Kind of a weak follow up, but there you go. However, I do need 6-12 months of physical therapy. So far, I'm responding well to it.

I seem to have missed the start of this somewhere Khaliban, but never mind; whatever it is you're going through, head down and bulldozer through it! Power to you in so doing!

Yeah, that's good news. Rotator cuff surgery is never fun, and not always successful.

Just don't over-do it before it's healed. Wink

Menklly - thank you.

I have two rotator cuff tears. Getting cortisone
Shots for them July 2nd. I get them a couple times
A year. Had me in tears last week. And I'm walking
Around on an ankle that the doctors told me to get
Fixed last year. So you know I have a high tolerance
For pain. And a strong pain med threshold.

Not this year. I won't be ready by August, but I'll be back next year. It's really not that bad. The triathlon is an excuse. I find exercise is easier with a goal.

I stopped at "exercise..." Very Happy

Well, Thursday already if it makes a difference any more. Very Happy

Next Tuesday is a public holiday, so we're going to be closed on Monday to give the teams a long weekend break...everybody has been putting in insane hours during this whole pandemic thing, and people are starting to get close to burning out.

It's a good thing I appreciate SD's humor.

So, I had my initial consultation with a new endocrinologist at EvergreenHealth today. Of course, I was screened for Covid-19 symptoms as I entered the building from the parking garage and given a sticker I never looked at designating I've been screened to put on the left side of my chest. I still had the sticker on when I came home.

SD took one look at the sticker and started chuckling.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm just thinking about two years ago," he replied.
"What about two years ago?"

In response, he reached over, pulled off the sticker, and showed the woman who had a double mastectomy in June of 2018 the sticker she was wearing on her left reconstructed breast which read...

"Flatten the Curve"

daaang...

My hubbie has a category for "things a male could say for which a woman would be well-justified in slapping him."

If it weren't the case that A. you appreciate SD's humor and B. he knows you appreciate his humor...
...that would be well within aforementioned category.

Well hell. Very Happy Problem with taking a long weekend is that so much has to be done in the remaining days. Very Happy And today is the first day in 2 weeks that I haven't had to have client / internal meetings.

Which means I get to do all the stuff that has been put off as a result of said meetings. Very Happy

So, very busy all round.

In cat news, Harley is doing well, putting on weight etc. Taking her for an x-ray on Saturday, and they will decide if the ex-fix frame can come off.

On the other hand, taking my Ginger to the vet on Tuesday for a follow-up blood test, because his fluid intake has gone up quite a lot and they worried it might be diabetes for gods sake. Very Happy

Clearly it never ends. Very Happy

Otherwise though, all good for the moist part. Very Happy

Glad y'all are on top of your boy's fluid intake. Many would probably just shrug it off until things got desperate.

Also glad to hear Harley is healing well. I hope she's being spoiled with lots of cuddles when she is receptive to them.
