I think item binding is implemented in order to ensure that rare items remain rare, i.e. you can only get them by completing the quest and not by just buying them. Works well, from what I can tell.

Yesterday's patch actually simplified the looting system quite a bit. Now when an uncommon item is found, you just click 'need' or 'greed' in the roll box and the game sorts it all out.

I'm quite jealous of Nathan's horse, I'm already wheeling and dealing in the auction house so that I have 100 gold by the time I hit level 40.

it took a LOT of wheeling and dealing, too. If I remember rightly I also spent 5 gold on herbalism and 5 gold on alchemy at the same time, which both capped at 225 at coincidentally the same time as I could get my horse.

By the way, if you can become honoured with your home faction before you buy your horse you can save 10 gold on the purchase!

I'm suspect this isn't actually our Zeph, given that Runetotem is a European realm and that's an Italian guild he's a member of. Gave me a bit of a start though! It looked like he was AFK at the time, which is likely given that it was outside the auction house in Ironforge (why do so many people do that? It makes the place lag like crazy).

Still, if it turns out that Zeph really is a level 60 paladin (wearing what looks like a complete set epic armour I might add), I really hope it's the later, more reasonable Zeph and not the easily angered, earlier version.

You should try it. WOW is a very fun game. Ive got a 60 Hunter (alliance) on Teranas and a bunch of alts on the same server.

I recently felt the call of the Horde and moved to Kilrog server with some friends from an EQ1 guild I was in for years, and have a 25 undead Rogue there. Im thinking I might try one of the RP servers soon. Ive always wanted to immerse myself into RP but havent really tried it.
